This notice explains how Riophany Services Ltd collects, uses and protects your personal information when you contact us, request a demo or use our website. We are the data controller for the information you give us.
Who we are
Riophany Services Ltd (“Riophany”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a CRM, digital transformation and business automation consultancy based in Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria, serving clients across Nigeria, the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States.

What information we collect
When you submit an enquiry, contact form or demo request, we collect the details you provide, which typically include:
- Your first and last name;
- Your work email address;
- Your phone or WhatsApp number;
- Your company name;
- The service you’re interested in and anything you write in your message;
- The consent choices you make on the form.
We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as the page you submitted from and standard log data, to help our website work and stay secure.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the information, quote or demo you asked for — on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in replying to you.
- To send you updates about your enquiry by WhatsApp — only where you have ticked that optional box (consent).
- To email you relevant Riophany insights and follow-up — only where you have ticked that optional box (consent). You can opt out at any time.
- To run and improve our business — keeping records, meeting legal obligations and improving our services (legitimate interests / legal obligation).
Your consent choices
Our contact form asks for your consent separately, so you stay in control:
- Agreeing to us using your details to respond to your enquiry is required for us to reply.
- Receiving WhatsApp updates and marketing emails / insights are optional and off by default — you only receive them if you opt in.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf, under appropriate agreements, including:
- Our CRM and email marketing platforms (Zoho — including Zoho CRM, Zoho Bookings and Zoho Campaigns);
- Google Workspace, for email and productivity;
- WhatsApp, where you ask us to contact you there;
- Our website hosting and security providers.
International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside your country, including outside the UK/EU. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or the providers’ own approved transfer mechanisms) to keep your information protected.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain our business relationship, and afterwards only for as long as required for legitimate business, legal or record-keeping purposes. Where you’ve given marketing consent, we keep that until you withdraw it.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email lazarus@riophany.com and we’ll respond within the timeframes required by law.
If you are in the UK or EU and are unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you have the right to complain to your data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Withdrawing consent
You can withdraw WhatsApp or marketing consent at any time — email us, or use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. Withdrawing consent won’t affect enquiries we’ve already handled or communications you asked us to send about your enquiry.

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work and to understand how it’s used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. If we introduce analytics or advertising cookies, we’ll ask for your consent where required.
